I’m looking into possibly purchasing a 2018 Toyota RAV4 XLE for my wife but I was wanting to get your opinion on it. Currently she drives a 2017 Jeep Cherokee but I don’t trust the CVT transmission so I was going to trade it in. What’s your opinion on the 2018 Toyota RAV4 and is there something else you would recommend that is a reliable compact suv? TIA!
Definitely get rid of the Jeep the 2018 had the 6 speed automatic and was basically the most reliable modern small SUV I'd definitely look into buying it.
The 2018 Toyota RAV4 was the last year of that generation, and the kinks were worked out. The XLE improved upon the car and I think its definitely an excellent choice.
2018 was also the last MY of that generation (XA40, 2013-2018) so any kinks would have been worked out by then.
