I have a 2018 Toyota Yaris I’ve purchased recently, with 47,000 miles. I don’t drive it very far other than to work which is about 6 miles from me. Will it last me a long time?
@blank62
Actually it will last then your life. Because you said you drive for only work. don't worry bro those are solid made and Yaris is one of the best reliable car.
Sure if you take care of it and change the fluids and keep up with regular maintenance. But realize 6 miles isn't very far to drive and only driving short trips isn't great for cars so be sure to take the car on the freeway and take a lil road trip every once in a while to help keep the car running smooth.
It should last a while, considering the very low mileage. But like @jacksonishere said, you gotta take it on an hour+ long highway trip every other week to keep it running smoothly
It's a mazda at that point. Not a bad car, but not quite as well made as a Toyota. Take care of it and it should give you 200k relatively trouble free though.
Thank you guys I appreciate all the helpful advice. I do plan to eventually upgrade to a Corolla but for now this Yaris should be fine.
