Hi their everyone, I was looking into getting a new car as I currently have a 1998 Toyota Rav 4 with 350k miles. Still runs amazingly good but it’s time for a change. I started getting into the feel of the newer version of the Scion XB vehicles. I plan to get a Scion XB as my next car right after I sell my Toyota rav 4 car, but I’m not to sure which year was the best year of the Scion XB. Can anyone that knows Scion tell me which Scion xB car year was the best year model? Like it had less damages or issues compared to the other Scion xB model years.

Scion XB is a great car and about as spacious as a rav 4 in terms of seating. I have a 2006 and it seems that2005-2007 was the best years as Toyota Japan was undergoing its Kaisen philosophy of improving cars every year. Spacious, fun to drive and iconic design, it’s the best of the boxy vehicles.

I did research on the Scion xB before and it turns out that even the 2015 Scion xb has the 2.4L 2AZ engine that is notorious for burning oil
Their just rebadged Toyota's just get one you not gonna do much better than that and the rest is just your preference. Figure out which one you like the best and just go for it.
