Toyota Scion XB 2006 65,000 miles. In July had a comprehensive check-up. All was well just told to change all the oils (transmission and engine as maintenance). Sept 2021, it tampered with the alarm was "undone,' all the doors were unlocked and the batter was drained. I had to get a jump start (new battery from March 2021). Late Sept 2021, was driving and the brake light on the dashboard turned on, then the OBD light and all the lights turned on. The VEhicle started to stall and it turned off. Had to get another jump start. Got home and made appoint with the dealer mechanic. Over the weekend, the day before the scheduled appointment, did hte same thing while driving.

A gentleman driving by on the way to work came out of his truck, checked the battery and all the cables were completely loose. He tightened everything right before my eyes (I could not understand how that occurred). I saw the battery and hoses or cables near the batter were loose. Went to the dealer, according to them a $170 computer check was conducted and nothing was found. Completed the maintenance which included the 65,000 miles comprehensive, engine and transmission oil changes, and flushes. One week later ... the same behavior happened again, while driving car dashboard lights to turn on, RPM goes high (not too high  does not reach the 1/4 on the gauge, car starts to stalls, and shut down. AC works well and so does the heat. Very concerning. I'm scared, I have a wheelchair family member and this puts us at risk. Never in the life of the vehicle has this happened.

Called back the corporate offices of manufacture (Toyota) and the service dealer who advised me to 'bring it in, can't imagine was wrong the computer showed no problems.' It shifts well and the brakes are perfect, had them and the tires done in March 2021. I do not want to spend another $2,000 dollars.
