I usually buy Subarus, but after watching the videos and doing research on sites with complaints on all the cars, I am now leaning toward Toyota Highlanders and Honda Passports.
I have test driven both and love both, but am leaning more toward a Passport after doing a side-by-side on features. I guess I just want to know whether one has a better edge over the other.
I am not in a rush to buy thankfully, but I do make long-distance trips from MI to VT several times a year and would like to get the one that will cause me the least issues, especially in winter driving. Thank you!
Definitely the highlander but your really setting money on fire if you buy that new. Your best off getting a 2015-16 because Toyotas will go forever if well maintained and whoevers selling them KNOWS THIS and will rake you over the coals and back if you buy that new. Trust me I've look at the prices. Take the money you were going to spend get a nice used one and save that extra back for maintenance because lord knows all cars are expensive to maintain properly.
And since your buying a new Truck check out http://www.Autotmepest.com for the best deal on your Highlander : )
Honda Passports have relatively weak transmission, on the other hand, the Toyota Highlanders have almost bullet proof drivetrain.
