I have a 2007 F150 5.4. The passenger side exhaust manifold studs are broken and the exhaust is leaking. It isn't too loud and there is only a slight ticking. Should I leave it, replace it, or try and put some exhaust tape around where the manifold sits on the engine? The truck did spend time in the rust belt and now has 145,000 miles.
its at the manifold, would the repair in the video above work there?

I would try to put someone exhaust tape and gasket sealant ... problem in that area is the preasure.... I have tried to do it on the cheap but after a while my repair around the head area fell apart.
Worst case u could ask a mechanic to tap it out and put a new bolt in their .
