I have a 2019 honda civic 2.0 liter cvt with 18,000 miles on the odometer. I bought the car brand new with 0 miles on it. Is it normal for a new car to be a little harder to start when the engine is cold? The temperature is between 40 to 50 degrees in the morning and i live in california.

Could be a bad battery or starter have both load tested if doesn't fix it check the throttle the cars almost to new for the throttle to stick but it's worth checking if the battery and starter are fine and you can easily check it yourself.

So my 2019 honda civic lx 2.0 liter cvt when i started the car with the engine cold and then turned it back off and then when i started to turn the car on after just shutting it off,  the car took a lot longer to start, like i was cranking the engine for a good 6 or 7 seconds before it finally turned over. But then every time after that the car starts normal. It has 18,000 miles the odometer. Is this normal if the car is cold and you turn it off and then start it right back up? Could i have flooded the engine with gas maybe is that why it took so long to start. I know it's a new and i don't want to take it to the dealership because this has only happened once and i haven't been able to repeat this problem again

Cars will often (not all cars) run rich (extra fuel) to help warm up the catalytic converters. Could very well have been flooded.

@zander916 so since i did flood it, it didn't cause any damage right?

Correct. If it's running now then you're good to go.
