2019 VW Alltrack SEL 6spd manual - Is it wise to remove the Clutch Delay Valve and Clutch Helper Spring

Hi Scotty,

I own a 2019 VW Alltrack SEL 6-speed manual with less than 8k miles. The car was purchased for the main reason that I love driving manuals
and have been for over 30 years.  I also want to hand down the knowledge to my children when they are of driving age.

I noticed once or twice in driving the car since owning it, a slight burning clutch smell .  With every car I've owned, I never experienced this.
I regrettably sold a '96 Infiniti G20t manual with close to 200k and never an issue and clutch pulled strong.  This was by far not a fast car, but
definitely one of the most reliable and economical I ever owned.  I also owned a 2014 VW Passat TDI 6spd manual and never an issue.

I did receive a recommendation from an owner group to remove the Clutch Delay Valve and Clutch Helper Spring.
According to them, this restores the engagement point of the clutch and gives it a more linear feel that more seasoned manual drivers
are accustomed to.  I also had the dealer look at the car and of course they found nothing of concern.

I have kept the car stock and intend to , but I want to know if these 2 items are removed, how will this affect the clutch in terms of
drivability and longevity?  Or is there something that I need to correct in my driving technique?

Thank you for your attention and I will keep enjoy watching your youtube channel.

Best,

Francesco
