2020 Civic Sport Sedan 6MT trans oil question

Hey Scotty,

I have a 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with the 2.0 Naturally Aspirated engine and 6 speed manual transmission.
People who own the CVT versions of this car are recommended to change their oil every 25,000-30,000 miles.
With the 6 speed manual, when should I expect to change the transmission oil, and what brand would your recommend? Thanks Scotty.

The answer to your question is in your owner's manual, free online if you don't have one.

Honda does things a bit different with different maintenance minders that pop up on the dashboard. We had a 2018 Civic 6spd., and If I remember correctly, we did ours on maintenance minder #3. We did ours at the 36k mile mark. Get the trans oil from Honda.
