Which one would probably hold up longer. The 2021 Honda Accord 1.5T or 2.0T sport?

Between those two, the bigger displacement turbo engine (so 2.0L) should last longer.  But realize, long term reliability/durability is still unknown with these engines.  Just as important, how will Honda’s 10-speed automatic transmission hold up:  jury is out on that as well.  If I were in market for a newer sedan and wanted to keep as long as possible, I would choose to gamble on a Toyota Camry or Mazda 6 sedan versus the Honda Accord.  If you planned to trade in or get a different vehicle anyways in a few years and below 100,000 miles then it may not matter as much.

I love my 2020 Accord Sport 2.0T. Would definitely recommend. 40k miles, no major issues so far and it has not seen the dealer since I bought it.

Between the two, I would definitely go for the 2.0T, it's gonna last longer, and it's really fast.

I am not a Honda fan. I would not say that Honda has gone downhill but I wouldn't become the test subject of a car like that.

It's too early to tell which engine will hold up longer.

The 2.0T hasn't has any issues that the 1.5T has had in the 5 years they have been out for. But there are far less 2.0T engines out on the road than 1.5T. The 1.5T will be on almost every honda vehicle soon. So if the 1.5T fails, so will honda.

For what it's worth, I own a 2017 honda crv 1.5T with over 100k miles and had no issues. Just do regular maintenance myself and change the oil every 5k miles with 0w-16.

If I have to choose between those, I would pick the 2 liter engine.
