Hi Scotty, I just bought a 2021 Chevy Tahoe High country with the 6.2L V8 and 10 speed auto from a local BMW dealer in the Philadelphia area with about 10,000 miles on it. As soon as I got it I took to the local Chevy dealer and did an oil change, air filter, cabin air filter, and manifold cleaning. Do you recommend starting to change the auto transmission fluid early? The service schedule says 50,000 miles but I would like to avoid problems. Is it ok to change it now and keep a regular schedule of 15,000 mile auto trans fluid change? Thanks
Please check the FAQ on when to change transmission fluid.
with about 10,000 miles on it.
no. Changing ATF every 10k for $200 and up is crazy. That's a new transmission paid for in a few years.
