How should I maintain my 2021 Toyota Corolla?

So I got suckered into a Toyota Corolla SE Apex with the 2.0 4 cylinder. Scotty will be proud that I traded my 2020 Kia Forte for a 2021 Corolla. I’ve a few issues but not really with the car but with the accessories that were installed on it. Anyways a few questions. Toyota recommends changing the oil every 10,000 miles and having the tires rotated every 5,000. Of course I’m not gonna go 10,000 miles on an oil change. I know Scotty would agree but I also noticed this Corolla take 0W16 oil. Which from friends say it’s basically like water. The manual suggests that I can use 0W20 on an oil change but the next oil change use 0W16 one of the reasons being that it helps the car get better gas mileage. Any suggestions? Should I continue to use the 0W16 oil and change it ever 5,000 miles or should I continue using the 0w16 and go 10,000 miles as suggested? Or use 0w20? I really don’t feel comfortable going 10,000 on oil changes. I drive mostly highway 100 miles a day round trip to work. Any suggestions? Also can’t seem to find a maintenance schedule for things like transmission service and coolant flushes like that. Please let me know what you suggest.

Use 0W-16 as recommended and change the oil every 5K.

I do coolant every 40-50K on my vehicles.

Instead of getting the transmission 'serviced', just change the fluid every 50K or so.

Nice purchase, good idea to get rid of that Kia, and good luck man.

This is exactly right
