Hi,
I purchased a 2024 Land Cruiser in September. First, both side mirrors began warping/melting in late November, and they were replaced by Toyota at no charge. Then in January one of the mirrors started melting again and I had it replaced, this time it was not covered. The vehicle is parked outside, but I have had several other makes/models parked in the same driveway without issue.
I’m in Austin, and it’s been cold; I can’t imagine what will happen in the summer.
Does anyone have any solutions? Thank you in advance.

Why would they not cover it the second time around? I have heard of this on other forums.
Does anyone have any solutions?
Well that's a brand new car. That should be covered under your factory warranty, especially being that it's the second time that thing has had the same problem. If I were you I would take it right back to the Toyota dealer and make them fix it (put on that gorilla suit if you have to). Good luck!
It's a known problem with late-model Toyotas, undoubtedly due to the use of cheap plastics though Toytota tries to blame it on "environmental conditions". (One of my cars here is nearly 40 years old and sitting outside. Its mirrors have not melted.)
An internet search for "Toyota melting mirrors" will bring up a lot of information.
