Hello Scotty I have a 2003 lexus ES300 with 73,000 Miles on it automatic that I brought from a local dealership.I,m Getting an unusual noise from the ignition when Insert the key it makes a buzzing/tapping noise sometimes the car at idling turns off. I scan the car with an OBD reader I get a code B2796 nocommunication immobilizer system. the key shell is broke. I order I a new key shell the one I have is half broken the key is loose when I insert it can you guide me thanks for your time.

If you have a second key, try that. If not, make another key before this one completely goes bad.

i will get a second key it only came with that one thanks i'll give it a try to see what happens.
