Hello,

I hope all is well with you and your mom! My father loves you, so when he found out I was having care trouble he told me to check you out . I have a Hyundai sonata 2011, USED. I’ve had it for 2 years without any problem until know. The care has a Horrendous noise when you turn on the ignition, it increases as you accelerate. I was told that the cars Radiator is leaking, The exhaust in the front of the car is broken, car needs a new AC compressor, Belt, tension, and two new idlers. They gave me a quote of 2700, and my father believes that is way too much ! I just wanna know what do you think, with all that being said do you believe that 2700 is a good price?

Clarification: Mileage? Also, which engine and transmission?

The noise may just be a bad fan belt pulley.

You failed to identify what engine you have, but assuming it's the normally-aspirated 4-cylinder a radiator costs around $125. A fan belt with pulley kit costs about $180. (Prices from rockauto.com.) Without knowing exactly where your exhaust is leaking it's impossible to figure how much that will cost to fix. If your AC compressor seized up you need to replace your entire air conditioning system, which would explain the expensive quote.

The car is definitely not worth putting $2700 into. You also did not state mileage, but there's a good chance the engine and transmission are near the end of their useful lives.
