Hey Scotty! I have a 2012 Nissan 370Z 100K miles 6spd manual… just bought it recently for 19500$. I’m having a ticking noise acting up in the engine bay… I have two videos you can preview to hear it… what does it sound like? Noisy Fuel injectors? (btw 370Z’s use PFI) Noisy Valvetrain? What is the most probable cause for this ticking noise? (I just changed the spark plugs, and it started making this ticking noise if that helps or if it was making the noise it wasn’t very noticeable)

It's hard to tell from a video where its coming from or what it is. But it does sound like typical Nissan valve train noise. First things check your oil. Alot of guys who have these type of noises usually run a high quality performance oil line redline to quite it down. I had similar noises in my 2003 specv with both engines I had installed. First engine was a qr25de second engine was a vq35de. Both engines made the same noise until they were fully built. It could also be a faulty injector or bearing. You can go to harbour freight or a part store and get a mechanic stethoscope and listen around. It will help you find the location of noise and figure out the exact cause.
Yeah. It could be many things. A bad intake manifold gasket and exhaust manifold can tick like that too. Loose hoses can mimic a ticking sound if it's rattling against something
