Hey Scotty, I was wondering if there is a certain brand to stick with when purchasing an axle actuator for my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS with 215k miles. When selecting anything on the push button switch, the transfer case will not go into gear. I can hear it trying to engage but no results so I’m thinking that it is the actuator needing replaced.

An OEM part would be best. However, it should be tested before replacement. It's always possible the problem is in the transfer case.
