So my 91 chevy silverado 5.7 liter v8 has a battery with cold cranking amps of 550 but the oe recommended at least 600. Is this bad for the engine and it's performance and i do have trouble starting it when it's cold i have to keep pumping the gas pedal when cranking the engine to keep it from stalling

Try not to title your post exactly the same so we can keep track of answer posts easier. ty
Its not bad for the engine per se but trust me, if you live somewhere cold that is not nearly enough CCA. That battery will be done for in quick order where I live in northern MN. Get something that is 650+ CCA. The battery I have in my truck is 720 CCA.

I live in california where it is about 45 to 55 degrees in the morning. Also could this be the reason the truck stalls out without pumping the gas pedal?

Because once the engine is warmed up it doesn't do that anymore it just starts right up
Computer temperature sensor...driver side cylinder head.
50#minimum fuel pressure and hold pressure for several minutes.

Leaking fuel pressure regulator.
