You like Toyotas, so I need your expertise here.  I have a 95 Toyota Camry v6 that chokes when you get on it and it's becoming dangerous in traffic. Replaced lots parts and two different service stations have had no luck in figuring out what is causing the issue. Had mechanic test throttle position sensor, inspect idle air control valve.  I have cleaned the throttle body and idle air control valve twice each.  New fuel filter, new fuel pump(due to car all of a sudden not wanting to start).  Replaced one of the fuel purge control valves.  New MAF sensor, plugs and ignition coils.

Its either fuel injectors or the transmission.

If the fuel injectors get gummed up or stop firing it will cause issues at higher throttle input.

If the transmission is failing it will cause similar issues. Since you said dangerous in traffic because of this it immediately made me think transmission if its falling on its face that hard.

Vacuum leak...smoke check will pinpoint.

Exhaust leak can trick oxygen sensors...scan tool that reads fuel trims.

Considering the age of the car...partially plugged catalytic convertor.

Engine coolant temperature sensor or its wiring can affect fuel/air ratio.
