'95 Honda Accord Manual cruise control doesn't work

Hello, what are possible causes of the CC not working?

The main switch shows a green lamp, which I suppose means the main control is on, but it doesn't activate (driving over 40 km/h in 5th gear, etc.).

Ideas?

Update: problem resolved.

The Brake and clutch pedals have switches for turning of the CC when they are depressed. The one on the clutch wasn't engaging because the rubber insert had fallen out. The fix: tape a coin onto the lever making it press in the switch when letting go of the pedal. Cruise control now works fine. I'm glad I looked into it a bit more before digging into the vacuum lines.

If this is an older vacuum actuated system, check all the appropriate vacuum hoses and switches.

Ok I'll check this out

isn't 40 kph [ 24 mph ] too slow for the cruise control to operate? on my ford, the manual said not to use it under 40 mph, [ 70 kph]

What I meant is I'm driving over the minimum of 40, it also doesn't work driving 120.
