I was driving my truck fine for weeks (after I fixed the starter bolts) and I drove up in my driveway shut it off and the next morning I go to start it and it cranked but it didn’t turn over. So I checked the battery, my starter, my spark plugs and tried checking my fuses but the fuse for the fuel pump I can’t see if it’s blown and I don’t have a voltage tester. So I came to the conclusion that I needed to replace my fuel pump because my fuel filter has been clogged and it probably burned up the pump. I proceed to drop the tank down get out the old pump and put the new one back in. I may have put the pump backwards but I got the connections working and the fuel gauge worked but it still wouldn’t turn over, so I tried turning my pump to match the arrow up with the arrow on the tank and a connection must’ve came loose in the process because the fuel gauge stopped working. Next thing I did was hook up a diagnostics tool and it’s sending a fuel delivery code but no other code. I’m a 19 year old kid and I’ve always done the work on my vehicles but I’m struggling on this and I need help
Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn ignition switch to ON position?
