After coming back from my trip to LA, which took about 6-7 hours to get their, my car seems to accelerate much faster then before. It's a 98 Saturn SC2 automatic with 196,500 miles. Is it serious or just me?

Did the engine get modified or do you always floor it when takeoff? I would check with a mechanic immediately.
No it wasn't modified in any way. Idk maybe my foot did get heavier since the trip, especially since I floored it on the way back ( I really wanted to be back home)
Check with your mechanic. Because you said you floored it, your transmission might be wearing out.
