Hey scotty

About the Toyota Venza 2009-2010 3.5 liter 6 cylinder and 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine purchase used

I love watching your videos and I have learnt a lot already from the DIY's you teach everyone on your channel.   I was looking into purchasing a Toyota Venza 2009 or 2010 with approximately 190000kms on it, Wanted to know your advice on which engine to pick? 3.5 liter 6 cylinder or 4 cylinder 2.4 liter please .IS it a good car at this age or it has some known issues from your vast expierence. I live in Alberta Canada, so it get pretty cold in winters here too.  Or do i just stick to a Camry.  One more thing i also see camries 2011 model but hybrids ( to save fuel ) with the same mileage of approximately 200000kms, do they last like petrol engines or better stay away from hybrids in general.

looking forward for your advice

Thank you for all the advice on your channel

Hello scotty

Great thank you for the reply but

what about the camry hybrids 2011 models with approximately 200000kms mileage , can they still run more or you dont recommend those?does the battery die out and can be costly to fix or can it be just disconnected?

thanks

Price out a brand new hybrid battery from your Toyota dealer & then decide if you’re willing to fork out that kind of cash, in case you end having up having to replace it, in future.

So can the hybrid battery be disconnected and the car can run on the petrol engine alone or its not a possibility?

thanks
