As stated above, I have a 2006 Acura MDX with 180,000 miles and the AC isn't working properly. It only blows hot air in the driver/passenger seat but the rear still gets cold air. This has happened before maybe a month ago, and I did the self test(holding the AUTO and OFF button at the same time) and after doing that it seemed to have automatically fixed itself. Now though that's not working, just wondering what you think could be the issue and if there's anything I could do or if I'd have a better chance of taking it to my mechanic. Thanks in advance
First thing to check is freon, take it to a shop and have them check it with thier pro machine. Don't use those recharge cans found at autostores!
Also check the blend door actuators in the dash
