AC not working when weather goes over 90F outside.

Hello, I have a 2008 Honda Fit Sport. Manual. AC works fine when the weather is under 90F. I am suspecting the AC is overheating.
AC fan is working (not sure if that is turning at the right speed... but is turning)
Compressor is clicking.
Feron level is right.
When it works, AC is cold as it should be.
I cleaned AC radiator already with a garden hose.
No error code from the computer.
AC clutch is engaging as well.
It burns more gas when AC is on... (I believe this is normal...)
Cabin filter is clean/New

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

AC does not overheat. It may cause overheating the car.

Take the car to a pro to check the AC system.

After 14 years it is probably low on refrigerant. Another potential suspect would be the condenser fan not working.

The only way to tell if refrigerant level is right when you have a variable-displacement compressor is to evacuate and recharge the system with the correct amount by weight. (The compressor will keep pressure up even if refrigerant is getting low.)

If you are not familiar with working on air conditioning it would be best to take it to a mechanic since it is very easy to make matters worse. Stay away from dealerships and chain shops.
