AC problem

Hey Scotty,  I recently watched a video you made about diagnosing A/C problems using a set of gages.  Trouble is, you covered every situation but the one I'm experiencing.  I have a 2007 Nissan Murano, 187,000 miles, runs great but my a/c is responding in a weird way.  The issue I have is that when the pressures indicate that the system is full of freon (40-50 psi), hot air is blowing through the vents.  I have to bleed the system until it reads way below normal pressure (around 10 psi) before it starts blowing cold air.  I also bought one of the freon kits from the parts store with the gage supplied and got the same results.  Before I replace the compressor, I wanted to ask if there is any other component in the a/c system that would cause this.  Searched the web and YouTube exhaustively but have not had anyone describe this situation.  Thanks for your time.

That doesn't mean the system is full, particularly if you have a variable-displacement compressor which most vehicles have been equipped with for over 20 years. What is the high side pressure?

If you're talking about one of those so-called "recharge cans" they are useless for doing any meaningful diagnostics.

Have you checked operation of your temperature blend door?  Checked temperature of condenser, evaporator (if accessible), and hoses?
