Anyone have any experience with advanced Auto parts crate engines. Was looking to buy one but wanted to due diligence before making the purchase. Thanks {black}:deceitful:

Personally, I would never buy a crate engine for many discount auto parts store. I've had too many people buy them and have problems with warranty, work and lack of quality. Realize these companies are just serving as middleman your best to go direct to a company rather than using middle man who just marks it up and then the company selling them. Such engines are making less money themselves and often quality concerns crop up as they rebuild them cheaper and cheaper

What engine in particular?

Go directly to the re manufacturing company, Powertrain Products, ATK, Jasper, etc. and check the warranty.  Auto parts stores just buy these engines and mark them up heavily to sell to you.

I think Jasper has a good reputation
