Advice on used car options

Hi Scotty,

I'm in the market to get a different car. I do not want to spend lots of money. I want something with good handling and enough power to easily merge on the expressway.  I'm looking at a 2011 Avalon , 2013 Camry or a 2011/2012 Mazda 6...

I really want to buy a car that will last me another 100k miles- I only drive 7k miles/yr max so that would take me nearly 15 years to have 200k if it already has nearly 100k on it when I buy. I never hear you talk about Avalons. Which of these will be cheapest to maintain and last longest?

Thanks,

Tom

No doubt one and only Camry bro last long with cheapest to maintain.

Either the avalon or the camry, their maintenance would be pretty similar, although the camry being newer than the avalon, prices for some parts might be a little more costly if not similar.

Thanks so much!

Is there going to be any difference In quality for those Camrys made in Subaru of In vs KY? Most I've seen near me come from IN

Get a Camry.  They're all made in KY as far as I know.  We ship parts on the current models and they all go to KY.  Don't get the Mazda 6.  Looks cooler but more issues.  And the Avalon is fine but what if you scratch up some interior part that isn't shared with the Camry?  They made like 40,000 Avalons per year; they made 300,000 Camrys.  Many parts are interchangeable but for those that aren't, good luck finding it at Autozone!

First of all, i go with toyota.
between Camry and  Avalon, if you want more luxury, choose avalon. The engine is the same as V6 camry (and also lexus es350).
some people call Avalon as a wise man purchase if you want to buy a lexus.
at the end, teset drive both and choose what you like better.
both are good choices.
