Air Bag Helper Springs

Scotty,

I have a 2013 F150 4x4.  I frequently tow a dump trailer that can cause the back of my truck to squat when it's fully loaded.  I've decided to either add an air bag kit or helper springs; which of these options would you say is best? Which suspension addition would more effectively level out my truck, while towing, and still preserve the comfortable ride when not towing?

Regards,

C.K.

The helper springs costs less, are easier to install, and maintenance free.

The air helper suspension kit costs a little more, takes a little more time to install, and may require some maintenance.

If you're towing a dump trailer, I'd go with the air bags. They're rated for more weight

I installed a ride rite kit and I couldn't be happier. 25 psi and the truck handles great with heavy loads. 5 psi and the truck rides like it did from the factory.
Thanks

I've heard people complain about leaky air bags. The springs sound more durable to me.
