I just found out today that Amsoil is an MLM/pyramid scheme just like ItWorks, Norwex, and Lularoe.
Do not support these types of companies, they often put their direct sales consultants into huge amounts of debt. Totally unethical. They alienate you from your friends because they're tired of the constant cold messaging trying to sell your product.
Most normal women hate these types of companies. These companies are a cult.
If you're a guy, please don't get sucked into Amsoil like my friends who've gotten sucked into crap companies like Lularoe, ItWorks, Norwex, Jamberry, 31 bags, Colorstreet, Usborne Books, Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware, etc.
Also, if any women you know sell these types of products, please try to save them from the cult.
Kinda hard to agree with you on that. Amsoil is API and GM dexos 2 certified and that's not really an easy task not all oil can pass that. While they do seem to mimic a MLM company (upon reasearch, not titles) I wouldn't consider them an scam cause they do sell a legitimate product unlike weight loss, which is all a scam. You don't see it on your local parts store but neither Motul or Redline most of the time either. While not for everyone nor that most people care cause "oil is oil" which I fall into that category though I always look for that little API sticker.
I kinda feel it is a blanket statement to just throw some shade at a business that just works on its own thing. They have a customer program (got a guy who swears by it for his GM truck) and of course anyone can sign up to be a dealer and they will collect stuff from that but commercials for royal purple did back in the day too. The difference between that was that you coulda gotten purple at the shelf instead of a independent or online seller.
