im looking into getting a hyundai tucson either 2006 or 2007. I was wondering what the major problems are with them? ls it a good suv?

Old ones are better than new ones, but, only marginally. Considering the age of your prospective car (17-18 years old now) no, it's not. They were cheap cars when they were originally built, and they're even more cheaply made now. Modern ones have problems with their piston rings and they've been producing internal combustion engines for over 100 years now. Pass.
