Bad Alternator/EPS/Timing Belt???

I recently bought the 2012 Acura TL FWD 131,600 km with 9 initial codes. I managed to reduce these but 2 of them still retained.

Current:

11-02 IG1 Power Line Failure

12-01 (no description)

I have been noticing a whining noise that changes pitch depending on engine RPM and while the steering wheel turns the whining noise briefly changes its tone.

Now the car is giving me a “Change Battery” warning after IDLING for few minutes. So I suspect a bad alternator.

The control module voltage is giving me 13.1 Volts at a second after ignition and ends up at 12.5 Volts after 60 seconds.

When I turned off the car, I immediately heard a clunking metallic clicking sound. But then I remembered that the engine is an interference engine.

So I believed that these problems that are occurring simultaneously lead to one problem - the timing belt.

Is this problem caused by an Alternator? Or the Electric Power Steering? Or the Timing Belt that needs replacing? Mention other causes as well.

I need help diagnosing this issue and I need this fixed before winter. Thank you.

Start with obvious stuff. Load test the battery and alternator to see how they re. If I'm not mistaken, you also have a power steering not electric. If this is the case, check the fluid level. If it checked out, the pump might be going bad.
