Hey, so I changed the upper ball joints on my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac about six months back. I used Lucas Red n Tacky grease, but it looks like it's separated and leaked out. I checked the grease in my gun, and it looks more like transmission fluid than grease now. What's the best grease to use for Moog ball joints?

Red n tacky has been my go to. Don’t know if your experience is abnormal or not, but it’s generally ok quality.

balljoints take ordinary lithium complex grease. The exact specifications should be in the owners manual or service manual. Typically, NLGI 2. It's available everywhere. Brand absolutely does not matter.
