Battery Saver Message on 2013 Ford Fusion

A couple of years ago, on a cold January morning, my 2013 Ford Fusion's original battery was dead when I went to start the car. I charged the battery and tested it with a heater type battery tester. It failed the test, but I was able to drive and get a new battery. Since then, I have been getting a message on my radio when the engine is not running, frequently, saying the audio is off to save the battery. Last night the radio screen was dark when I got in the car, and until I started it and waited several seconds for the screen to light up. I tried replacing the battery current monitor that the negative battery cable passes through with no difference seen. Does something need to be reset so the Body Control Module senses the battery voltage and current are not low in actuality?

Have you tested the voltage of the battery to ensure it isn't low enough to trigger this? Double check the model number/specs of the battery to ensure it's the right one for your car. Thats an odd one.
