Best aftermarket brake parts for 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5

Hey Scotty, team,

I have a 2006 Altima with 88,000 kms on it and it's time for me to do a complete brake job on the car. I'd like to know what are the best brands to go for in the following categories:

1. Brake Rotors

2. Brake pads (I've watched videos where Scotty praises Akebono, but had to ask anyway)

3. Brake calipers

I did look for OEM brake rotors for this car, but they were honestly way overpriced - I was able to get Brembo rotors for the same price as the OEM one. Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Abhi

Just to add - I live in Toronto, Canada. 🙂

1. Get some good quality rotors from your local auto parts store, if you can’t afford OEM.

2. Akebono ceramic pads.

3. Scotty often recommends remanufactured callipers.

I would obtain my parts from a local supplier that provides a limited lifetime warranty.
