Hi, I'm looking for the top options on transmission oil, any suggestions?
My car is a 2006 Mazda Miata, 6-speed manual, with 90k miles.
Just get a grade that is specified in your owner’s manual! I believe it’s API service GL-5, Viscosity SAE 75W-90. Brand is irrelevant since all have to meet API and SAE spec. But check your manual, since I’m going by memory at this moment.

I just checked in the manual. Info above is correct.
Also, don’t forget rear differential, it needs to be serviced as well. Lubricant specified is the same grade as the one for a manual transmission.

Check there, they know your vehicle best.

Recommended Oil
Use SAE 5W-20 engine oil.
Oil container labels provide important
information.
A chief contribution this type of oil makes
to fuel economy is reducing the amount of
fuel necessary to overcome engine
friction.
