Hey Scotty recently bought a 2008 Mitsubishi eclipse GT SE V6 automatic with 123k miles on it bought from a private seller only owner bought brand new in 2008 I wanted to know if it’s smart to change transmission fluid on these cars because I wanted to change some of the fluids on it

If you have no records, fully drain the coolant, flush it out with a hose and change the coolant. All coolants eventually become acidic and it will eventually corrode the inside of your engine. Thousands of hot/cold cycles greatly enhance this process.
