The bracket for the left sun visor in my household's 2004 Mazda B2300 pickup truck is hanging down. (For the record, the pickup in question has an automatic transmission, and it has approximately 81,600 miles on it.) The 2004 B2300 pickup truck is a badge-engineered Ford Ranger. Screws hold in the sun visors' brackets and retainers. Judging from this YouTube video, removing and reinstalling the sun visors along with their respective retainers and brackets should be a piece of cake. However, I wonder if there is a underlying issue in the case of the left sun visor's sagging bracket. Here are some pictures (use arrows to scroll through them) I took of it:
I do admit that in addition to the sagging bracket, the retainer for the left sun visor is somewhat loose. Here's a picture I took of it:
Could there be an underlying issue concerning both the sagging bracket and the loose retainer?
Could there be an underlying issue
only one way to find out. Remove it and see.

It could have been just a loose screw. Or it could be the hole is now too big for the actual screw. Or maybe the plastic tab broke off. If you have a Ford Ranger or Mazda B2300 truck available or in the junk yard, you can take a look and compare.
Out just gerryrig something together to keep it from sagging. It's hard to tell from the photos, but from what I can see, it looks like a missing screw, or a broken plastic trim, or maybe the hole is now too big. Hard to tell without actually being there.
It appears that the bracket is held in place by expanding sleeves that need to be replaced. Similar to drywall anchors.
you need a new plastic piece. It's trashed
It's called an anchor, is it not? A screw goes into such a thing.
Pull the visor out and look at the mounts. They look like they might be held in by a kind of nylon nut or something similar. They can break down over time. My '79 Pontiac's headlight trim used to shake and I'd notice it moving when I'd hit bumps because the light changed. They've long discontinued making nylon nuts for it. I fixed it with nylon nuts that were meant for Kias. Haha. If your roof isn't rusted, which it doesn't appear to be, either the metal for the screws stripped out, or the plastic mount broke off.
Do you rough handle your visors? My '99 Ranger has the better part of 3.5x the mileage of your 2004 and it still has the original visor mounts.
The sun visor in question is now out. (Don't ask me how.) Here are some new pictures I've taken of the bracket and stuff (scroll through them using arrows):
Does anything look particularly amiss?
Does anything look particularly amiss?
umm ... yeah

one of these things is not like the other. Can you guess which one?
Did you take photos of the hole in the truck this came out of?
The one on the left. It's called an anchor, is it not? A screw goes into such a thing.
you probably need to buy the whole triangular part
