  1. Good morning everyone, I have a 1998 honda civic dx. I started the car and put in reverse and the brake pedal sink when I pressed it. I check the fluid level and it was low, I put fluid in it then I shut off the car and started back up and move an inch forward and again the pedal sinked. I check the brake fluid and it was low again. What could be the problem?

Either a brake line or brake hose is leaking, most likely, due to the car's age. Put a piece of cardboard under the car and step on the brakes again, then slide the cardboard back out and check for leaks.

@chucktobias One of those icons in the screenshot is not like the others, hehehe. Time to go play a Powerball ticket 🎟

it's a 27 year old car a lot could be wrong. Probably corroded brake line or rotten brake hose. Always make sure you change brake fluid regularly, and have it looked over.

Have you checked your calipers yet? It could be leaking from there. And the Brake Master Cylinder could be leaking too, that’s happened to me.
