Just back from mechanic. The scan doesn’t show any errors. Last time it shuttered the ABS light did not come on. Sometimes the ABS light comes on but if I shut the car off and turn it on again the ABS light is off and doesn’t come on for weeks.

The mechanic thinks it needs a speed sensor but he wants me to continue to drive it until it happens again and the ABS light goes on so it will show an error when he scans it to be sure. It is scary when this happens because it feels like the car won’t stop. Last time before today at his shop when he scanned the car it did this shutter at every stop on the way home. Came home, shut it off and didn’t do it at all.
