How would you open the driver door when the door latch wire isn’t attached, not sure how to open it

If it won't open with either inside or outside handle that's a tough one. I had that happen on a car several years ago and had to remove the inside door panel while the door was closed. Not a lot of fun! 😲

How did you get the door panel off while the door was closed
It was just barely possible to get to the screws that held the panel on. Once it came loose I was able to reach inside and manually trip the latch by hand. I recall having to make up a custom tool by cutting down a torx driver to get at one of them. A lot of contortion was involved.
Each car is different, you have to take a look at how your door panel is attached.
