My truck use to run perfect.before I get to far into what I’ve done to it over the years to keep it running let me ask what I’ve narrowed it down to myself. During tests I can start the truck up, hit reverse back out and put it in drive and I can hit the gas and get above 2000 rpm and make them truck go pretty fast like it use to... after I come to a stop I take off again and I can’t get above 2000 rpm I can stop the truck turn off the key and turn it back on and throw it in drive and it goes hard and fast again then I come to a stop and the same happens I can’t go past 2000 rpm? I can start it over and over and have it warmed up or cold it runs fine after start then after one “pull” I can’t get over 2000 rpm I’m thinking it’s electrical but I’m not sure has anyone ever had this issue?i can go 0-60 in 4 seconds then come to stop and can go 0-60 in a minute weirdest ish I’ve ever seen....please help
well if you shut it off and turn it on it does it again and works okay for a while that is some type of electronic problem they can be Gremlins with computer module problems.that is typical GM for you so find a good GM mechanic with the dealer scan tool who can analyze all the modules and all the sensors and pray it's something simple like a solenoid pack or a computer module

Okay thank you for answering and it only let’s me go past 2000 one time it doesn’t run well for a wile literally one time and I’ve got some codes I have a
p0758 shift solenoid B electrical
p0137 O2 Circuit low Voltage (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
P0307 Cylinder 7 Misfire
I took it to a mechanic he’s good and had it for 3 days checked all the plugs and a bunch of other things and couldn’t find the problem sadly luckily he is a good one so he didn’t charge me for checking all that he did.
As Scotty mentioned make sure you take it to a GM dealer. They sometimes have special tools that can see problems us normal mechanics cannot. Thats not usually the case but when it comes to computer problems the manufacturers have priority software that lets them see into the system in ways everyone else cant.
