Buying a 2005 Sienna. Anything specific I need to check?

Going to look at a 2005 Toyota Sienna with 160k miles. Seller says only thing mechanical he’s had to do is replace the starter. Carfax report shows a wreck to the passenger side previous to the seller purchasing it. Seller has had it 12 years and, other than the starter, says he’s had no problems with it. Just want to make sure I’m not missing anything before I pull the trigger. He’s asking $5900.

I would walk away. You said that it was in a wreck and you didn't mention how bad it was and when it occurred.

It can be a good car. Have your mechanic check the car before purchase. You can lower the price by mentioning the accident report.

They all say they have no problems.  They all get 4 Pinocchios. Run, don't walk, away from this deal.

Thanks for all the advice. I was actually going to try to make a low ball offer, but at the last minute I found what looked like oil leaking from the engine itself.
