When I start the car the dash leaves the following lights on (they don’t blink). Can not drive car in this “mode”. 2013 Jeep Compass with 126,773 miles. Drove fine last night, started this morning and this all happened.
1. Anti-Lock Brake (ABS) light
2. 4WD System Fault Indicator Light
3. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Activation/Malfunction indicator
4. Brake Warning Light
What is wrong? How could all these systems break overnight?
That brake warning light being illuminated may be causing the other 3 lights.
Check your brake fluid reservoir to make sure it's full.
If it isn't, look at the inside (under car side) of each tire for brake fluid leaking
What's virtually impossible for all those to break at the same time but knowing Jeeps when the main computer goes bad it can trip all kinds of codes I've seen computers go bad in those all the time they're made like junk. Have a pro mechanic check that first
Check to see if the alternator is putting out correct voltage, about 12.5 at idle and about 14.5 when revved up.
