is it normal for a car to smell a little bit like oil after racing? Redlining 1st and 2nd

What kind of car?
Some burn oil when driven hard. Redlining an engine is never a good idea, much less repeatedly.
I have a 2007 Lexus IS 250
Yeah I wouldn't be wailing on that so hard. It shouldn't be smelling like or using any oil.

Check the valve cover gasket to see if you see any leak.

stock car shouldn't smell unless you overheated the brakes if that's what you're smelling
