My 1994 Nissan 300zx NA 5 speed (134k miles) runs good. However, the car instantly runs much better and faster always shortly after I fill it up with gas but then goes back to running just good a couple of miles later. Why do you think this happens? Any recommendations or anything I can replace so that it constantly runs faster all the time, just as it does when I fill up?

Well realize when you fill it up all those gasoline vapors in the tank have to go somewhere and sometimes it gets stuck in the EVAP system especially the charcoal canister then you get that extra fuel which eventually just evaporates and you go back to normal. So there's really nothing you can do that would just be kind of a side effect of her actual minor problem that added more fuel to the car
