Hey Scotty, love the channel!

I bought a 2018 Ford F-150 with a 2.7 V6 4x4 in 2020 with 62k miles on it (a bit high) It was my first car purchase out of college though. Since buying it I have had nothing but problems with it. Replacing the catalytic converter on it, when coming to a stop it my auto stop/start would malfunction and turn off my vehicle completely where I had ti turn the key off and start it back up, and my MAP sensor most recently going out. I take it in regularly for oil changes or any light hat comes on. I’ve ran seafoam in it to help clean it up. I keep an eye on fluids or if it’s acting strange and try to take care of it the best I can. This is my first vehicle I bought so I don’t know if it’s just a bad vehicle or I’m not taking care of it correctly but each time I fix it Something else comes up. Should I move on from this vehicle or is there something I should be doing that’ll help the vehicle?

Well, you should not use it.

About the truck, take it to an independent honest mechanic and have it checked and then make a decision to keep or sell it.

Never use Seafoam in a 4 cycle engine.  Ford vehicles have become extremely unreliable and if I were you, I'd get it running as best as possible and get rid of it.

New Ford vehicles lately are nothing but garbage. My 2017 Mustang and my girlfriend's constantly throw EVAP related check engine lights, mine has 22k miles and hers has 80k. Meanwhile, my 1999 Ranger is pushing 280k miles and I've never seen that check engine light come on, only when I put it in Run to see if the lights still work.

Take it to a good mechanic to look at, not a dealer, since you have no warranty. The 10 speed automatic is a GM/Ford collaboration and was so badly designed, they swore to never work together again.

Buy a scan tool to use and watch Scotty's videos and learn how to use it yourself. He uses an Innova 5160RS for bidirectional testing, before be gets out the big boys. That's a $350 scanner. I use an Innova 3100RS that I picked up for $100 from AutoZone, until I decide to drop more money on the 5160. I fixed my Mustang's emissions problem with it that the dealer allegedly couldn't find.

Fords are just junk. Take it to an independent mechanic to.get it diagnosed. With all the problems I would say get rid of it.
