I bought a 95 Corolla Wagon in Big Island Hawaii, for $750. Has 244,000 miles. Previous owner mentioned 1000s put into it during 3 years they had it. It was a gift so they wanted to take care of it they said

It has no check engine light, hasn't had one in 6 months I've had it.

I've replaced valve gasket cover, alternator belt, has an oil leak from oil pan gasket. Has tranny leak from drive axle seals. Has an oil filter that's prob a year old, but has continuously had new fluid in it with the leak. Has bad front struts but can still go a while. Timing belt looks new.

NO power steering leak, should I change the fluid tho?

Did a head gasket test no leaks, did a compression test. This is what I got

1 210

2 240

3 240

4 240

Tranny shifts hard into drive at start up but that's it, drives smooth no slipping. Purrs like a big kitten.

Emergency Brake light doesn't work for some reason.

Hasn't broken down prob need a new rear motor mount tho.

Might have a small exhaust leak. White smoke blows out at startup when it's sat a long time like overnight. But doesn't come back after it's warmed up and driving.

Heck I'd keep it the engines in great shape and the other stuff you can fix it as you want
