I have a Mazda CX-5 2014, and the car have 74,000 miles and by the car's manual it's time to change the transmission fluid. But it never been change. Should I change the fluid or just live with it until it dies

I would change it now, long overdue. You should be changing the automatic transmission fluid and filter (if applicable) every 40,000 miles. Use only the OEM fluid.

If you don’t maintain your transmission it will die for sure
