Changed CAT on '08 Odyssey and now the car won't accelerate.

I drive a 2008 Honda Odyssey with 245,000 miles. About 2 months ago, my check engine light came on and I got the P-0420 code. The check engine light was somewhat intermittent, mostly on. Never really noticed any driving or performance problems. Within the last couple of weeks, I would get intermittent loss of acceleration. Last week, I got a flashing check engine light, so I had the CAT changed today. Now I get a loss of acceleration almost all of the time. The harder I push the pedal, the less power I get. If I push lightly, the car will gradually accelerate. Worst acceleration going uphill.

I still have the old CAT. It looks clean as a whistle on the inside. I do get some hard shifting. Any idea what it likely is? Thanks in advance for your time.

Knowing those things it's usually the automated transmission going out it was designed for so we have a pro like me. Check it out in person first. If he says the transmissions going on my advice is get rid of the car cuz it's going to cost you anywhere. I'm 35 to 5,500 bucks to fix the transmission. If it's not the transmission it could be a weak fuel pump. It could be dirty fuel injectors. It could even be a problem in the engine cuz those have had problems with the one side cam too. They're not very good vehicles as they get high mileage

Thanks, Scotty. I just checked. It's been 100,000 miles since I've changed the spark plugs. What are the chances it just needs new plugs?
